The Common Operator Technique: An Optimization Process to Identify and Design a Set of Common Operators to Perform SDR Equipment

Abstract

This paper is dedicated to introduce the Common Operator technique as an optimization technique for multi-standard transceivers. The statement will present a new multi-granularity approach to plot promising common operators. Based on graph decompositions and their optimizations, the method allowed us to enumerate a finite number of operators such as FIR, FFT, Butterfly, CORDIC, LFSR, introducing flexibility and optimization in the SDR terminal.
