Dynamic inductive charging for electric vehicle: Modelling and experimental results

Résumé

In this paper, a clever method for a preliminary design inductive power transfer system, based on a serie serie resonant converter, has been developed. Limitations of this circuit have been shown and a control without communication between primary and secondary side has been explained. This system could be suitable for on-road powering electric vehicles. An experiment of 2kW under 60V has been built following the design rules of this article and results have been compared to the theory.
