EMC modeling approach for multi-physic optimizations

Abstract

Through the example of a power converter, this paper discusses the best approach to obtain an EMC modeling of the conducted perturbations, compatible with the computing time of a multiphysic optimization. Then, several multilevel models of switching components are compared to provide various compromises between the computing time of the simulation and the frequency domain of validity.
