Limited Background Knowledge in E-Commerce

Résumé

This paper, first, presents the role of what we call the limited background knowledge (LBK) i.e., the ontological graphs plus a set of specialized vocabularies each of which is associated with the pragmatic value(s) of the transaction at hand. Then, its integration into a model of querying by long strings in E-commerce is discussed. Finally, the derived model is applied to a real-world problem, namely the commercial transactions on the cars.
