Modeling of Magnetic Induced Deformation Using Computer Code Chaining and Source Tensor Projection

Abstract : Source tensor projections are developed for the magneto-elastic coupled problems when magnetostriction induced force and magnetic force are considered. Comparisons with classical force density projection are first performed on a simple example. Then it is investigated on an application of a multi-layer transformer core with the consideration of material anisotropy and multi-layer inhomogeneity.
