Min-sum decoding of irregular LDPC codes with adaptive scaling based on mutual information

Abstract : An adaptive scaling strategy is proposed for counterbalancing LLR overestimation in Min-Sum decoding. The scaling factor is a function of a single variable that can be efficiently computed online.
