. , From 2005 to 2014 he held several positions as Electrical Engineer at several companies in Kosovo and USA (remote work for AT&T via Tellabs), Faton Maliqi was born in Kosovo in 1983. He received the BSc degree in 2005 and the MSc degree in 2012, both in Electrical Engineering from the University of Prishtina, and the PhD degree in 2017 in Networks

, (National School of Engineering in Telecommunications) with research activities focused on Signal processing for Communications. He was head of the Signal and Image processing Department from 1997 to 2000. He is now with CNRS/L2S (Laboratoire de Signaux et Systèmes, Gif sur Yvette, France), where he developed studies in Signal processing for communications and signal/image processing for multimedia applications, including joint source-protocol-channel coding/decoding. He is currently investigating the connections between communication theory and networking as well as Information theory and AI. He was Distinguished lecturer, IEEE, for 1999, and was co-technical chair of ICASSP 06, Francesca Bassi was born in Cremona, Italy. She received the BSc and the MSc degrees in Telecommunications, 1975.
