An automatic soil parameters identification software

Abstract : The need to develop constitutive equations able to follow complex stress-strain path has often led to many parameters to identify a given soil material with respect to such a constitutive model. In an industrial context the time lost by the geotechnical engineer is unacceptable and this gave us the idea to implement an automatic software which would be able to deal with this topic. A discussion of the required steps is presented in this paper.
