A wavelet-based contrast source inversion method

Abstract : A wavelet transform is applied to the contrast source inversion (CSI) method to tackle the highly nonlinear inverse scattering problem. The latter is about retrieving the contrast or permittivity and conductivity of the unknown scattering object from measured electromagnetic field data. A multi-scale wavelet-based method is proposed due to the multi-resolution property of the wavelet decomposition.
