Estimation of wind speed prediction intervals by multi-objective genetic algorithms and neural networks

Abstract

Wind speed forecasting is a fundamental task in wind power production management. In the present work, a multi-objective genetic algorithm (MOGA) is employed to train an artificial neural network (ANN) for short-term forecasting of wind speed prediction intervals.
