It has been with great honor and responsibility that I have served as the Editorin-Chief (EiC) for the prestigious journal which is IEEE Communications Letters. The EiC role has become part of my everyday life, working directly with a team of over 100 Editors, 10 Senior Editors, 1 Lead Senior Editor, and 1 Associate EiC (AEiC), while handling more than 2600 manuscripts annually. Together with the editorial team, we have succeeded in ensuring a turnaround time of approximately 30 days from submission to the first decision, and about 14 days from submission to decision for revisions. Furthermore, along with the publication team, we have provided an average time from submission to online posting of around 7 weeks.
